Upcoming Events for December 18th-20th

Learning Objectives

  • Reading: We will work on summarizing narrative stories. Students will practice this skill aided by a graphic organizer. They will give an oral summary to a partner.
  • Writing: We will learn about how to write a friendly letter. We are working on writing sentences with capital letters, spaces between words, and ending marks. I encourage students to be fearless spellers. This means they sound out unknown words or look to the Word Wall for assistance.
