  • We will be celebrating the 100th day of school on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Each student is asked to bring 100 pieces of a snack item in a ziplock bag. Suggested items could be 100 fruit loops, pretzels, m&m’s, marshmallows, smarties, etc. We will use them for comparing weights for math. We will then mix them together for a 100th Day snack. Thank you for your help with this exciting math activity!

Also on the 100th Day of School students may dress like they are 100 years old. This is always a big hit with students!  We have included some ideas to help you get started planning what your child will wear.

    • Girls: Printed skirt, pearls, eyeglasses, sweater, wig or curled hairstyle, gray hair spray, knee high stockings, large purse, scarf

    • Boys: Button down shirt, flannel shirt, suspenders, tie,
eyeglasses, drawn on mustache or beard, gray hairspray.
