MAP Assessments will occur after the holidays.  Our class will take the MAP Reading assessment Tuesday, December 2 from 1:15-2:15.  We will take the MAP Math assessment Friday, December 5 from 8-9:30.  Please make sure that your child is well rested and eats a good breakfast!

*The students may feel more comfortable with the MAP if they have some practice answering questions on a computer. Below is a link to some MAP practice websites!

There is a new link attached on the right side of the webpage. It is called Reading Symbaloo. The link connects you to many 1st grade friendly online books. The students go on this website as part of our Daily 5: Listen to Reading. The students love it so much and would probably enjoy going on at home as well.

Thank you students and parents for creating these amazing Character Pumpkins! The students did a wonderful job presenting them to the class. It made us excited about reading these texts! GREAT WORK!
