Learning Objectives
- Reading: What are the habits of a good reader? We will learn how to pick a just right book. We will learn strategies to use when reading with someone.
- Writing: We will continue to build a writing community. We will write stories about how we help.
- Math: We will be working on how to add numbers to make a whole. We will study the partners of numbers (addends). We will discuss multiple ways to make "10."
- Science: We will be learning about the Earth, sun, and seasons. We will learn about the solar eclipse happening on Monday, August 21st!
- Character: How can I be a good citizen?
1.) Math workbook pages 1-14 (Keep these pages at home)
2.) Make Sight Words Flashcards and Practice (You can find the sight words in the students' yellow folders)
