Here’s a Sneak Peek at Next Week:
Learning Objectives
- Reading: What are habits of a reader? We will learn 3 ways to read a book (text, picture, retelling.) We will learn how to Read to Self as part of Daily 5.
- Writing: What does it mean to be a writer? We will introduce a writer's tools. We will begin writing small moment stories.
- Math: We will be working on counting and extending repeating patterns.
- Social Studies: How do people show good citizenship? We will learn about citizenship and Eleanor Roosevelt.
- Character: How can I be an Auburn Star? We will discuss how at Auburn we practice the following:
- Safety and Self Space
- Taking Responsibility
- Acting Kindly
- Respecting Self, Others, and Property
- Showing Good Citizenship
