October 10th is a teacher workday. Please sign up for a conference time if you have not yet. A googledrive document was shared with you. Also, for parents who have not signed up for a time yet, a paper was put in your child's daily folder with the sign up time slots that are available. We are trying to get our conferences completed on October 10th and before and after school the week of October 13-17.
Here is the link to the googledoc if you still need to sign up! Mrs. Green's Parent-Teacher Conference Sign Up Sheet

DASH
The DASH will begin in the very near future!  We are really focusing on doing things the ROCKETS’ Way!  We had a class discussion about goal setting where we set goals that are specific, measurable, and attainable.  The students decided to set a goal of receiving 75 sponsors for our class.  We will be monitoring the number of sponsors/donations that children receive.  Please help our school raise money to purchase some cool interactive robots to assist students with problem solving through the STEAM process!

OPERATION SHOEBOX
Care Packages: For the Month of October
We will be collecting items to make care packages for our troops at home and overseas.  5th graders are asking first graders to send in:  toothbrush, toothpaste, and travel size body wash (men and ladies kind).  Also, small containers of instant coffee would be greatly appreciated.

Friday night, Oct. 10th  is Elementary School Appreciation Night and OCYFL Night at the NOHS vs. Monroe Area High School Football game. The game starts at 7:30pm.

We will send a "ticket" for each student to use at the game for free admission. This ticket is only good for the elementary student. They must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Your students are invited to report to the home side track of our stadium at 6:45 pm where a cheerleader will great them and each school will be announced and honored. We are excited about recognizing our future Titans.
