DASH:  We are close to meeting 50% of our goal.  Please spend this last week getting donations and sponsors! Thanks for your support!  We are focusing on doing things the ROCKETS’ Way!  We had a class discussion about goal setting where we set goals that are specific, measurable, and attainable.  The students decided to set a goal of receiving 75 sponsors/donations for our class.  We will be monitoring the number of sponsors/donations that children receive.  Please help our school raise money to purchase some cool interactive robots to assist students with problem solving through the STEAM process!

OPERATION SHOEBOX

Care Packages: For the Month of October

We will be collecting items to make care packages for our troops at home and overseas.  5th graders are asking first graders to send in:  toothbrush, toothpaste, and travel size body wash (men and ladies kind).  Also, small containers of instant coffee would be greatly appreciated.

Friday night, Oct. 10th  is Elementary School Appreciation Night and OCYFL Night at the NOHS vs. Monroe Area High School Football game. The game starts at 7:30pm.

We will send a "ticket" for each student to use at the game for free admission. This ticket is only good for the elementary student. They must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Your students are invited to report to the home side track of our stadium at 6:45 pm where a cheerleader will great them and each school will be announced and honored. We are excited about recognizing our future Titans.

Technology Survey: Parents please take Oconee County School District's parent technology survey. You can find the link at Rocky Branch's website. Our school goal is for 90% of parents to complete the survey!
