Reading: Reviewing Daily 5 Expectations, Asking and answering questions in response to literary and informational texts

L.Arts: We will still look at ways to "fix up" sentences. We will continue to point out nouns(person, place or thing) and verbs( action/doing). Lastly we will continue to identify conjunctions and how they can help our sentences have better flow. 

Writing Workshop: Reflecting on the New Year, writing goals and resolutions

Math: Measuring length using non-standard units, inches, and centimeters.

Science: Students will learn how to differentiate between various sounds in terms of pitch (high or low) and volume (loud or soft)

1- Cleaning out your old books during the holidays?  RBES is in need of BOOKS for the BOOK SHARE FAIR in the spring!  Please donate books that are appropriate for elementary-age students! Each student will choose one book to keep!

2- Six Flags Read to Succeed reading logs are due on February 15!
